However, some of these proposals lean more on the side of unrealistic utopias. Maybe more of an attention-grabbing stunt than a path forward. Designing and building cities of the future doesn’t have to be flashy (retrofitting!). The outcome—true sustainability—is more important than any greenwashed aesthetic.
