How MetaProp Established the Largest NYC's Proptech Accelerator

During New York City's tech startup boom in the early 2010s, particularly in fintech, adtech, and edtech, Zach Aarons recognized a lack in the foundational support for proptech growth. Around the same time, he met Aaron Block, who was passionate about the convergence of real estate and technology. Together, they launched the MetaProp Accelerator program in 2014. To this day, the program fosters a network of seasoned mentors to help refine entrepreneurs' pitches so that they can effectively market their products to various entities across the real estate industry.

Zach Aarons is a Co-Founder and General Partner at MetaProp, a New York-based venture capital firm specializing in real estate technology, or "PropTech."
